Job Description
DPAC, a charter school, is seeking an Executive Director to lead its transition to an independent charter school and ensure academic excellence, financial sustainability, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in senior leadership, a strong understanding of the Las Vegas education landscape, and a commitment to driving educational equity in Nevada.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in senior leadership
- Experience leading organizational transformation, change management, or turnaround efforts
- Experience serving as a senior leader in a school, nonprofit, or complex organization with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of or commitment to learning the Nevada and Las Vegas education landscape
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Strategic leadership skills
- Financial acumen and operational judgment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative and accessible leadership style
