Vice President, Collective Action K-12 Education & Youth Development

America’s Promise Alliance (APA) seeks a Vice President, Collective Action K-12 Education & Youth Development to oversee the work in APA’s Aligning K12 Education and Youth Development issue area, leading collective action initiatives and engaging with member organizations to maximize their impact.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive senior leadership experience
• Deep K-12 expertise, including a strong understanding of how school systems operate
• Nonprofit operating experience, with a demonstrated track record of doing and not just directing
• Executive-level relationship builder with proven ability to build trust and credibility with CEOs and C-suite leaders
• Collective action instincts and the ability to identify field-wide challenges ripe for multi-organizational solutions
