Job Description
The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst, Student to join the Information Technology Services/Data and Digital Services team.
Requirements
- College students contemplating a career in math, computer science or business
- Successful completion of at least one programming course
- Relational database experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with one or more of the following preferred: enterprise BI platforms; low-code/no-code platforms; data visualization tools; basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts
- Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
- Above-average oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts
- Above-average organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent work record of attendance, punctuality and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet business needs
