Solutions Analyst, ITS Student

The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking a Solutions Analyst, ITS Student to join the Information Technology Services/Enterprise Solutions team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college program related to Information Systems, Business Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Basic understanding of information systems and programming concepts gained through coursework
• Introductory knowledge of databases and cloud-based systems
• General awareness of core business topics such as accounting, finance, statistics, or economics through academic studies
• Familiarity with at least one programming or query language
• Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
• Above-average oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with internal and external contacts
• Above-average organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent work record of attendance, punctuality, and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
