STUDENT- WRITING CENTER TUTOR "Fall 25"

Ithaca College is seeking motivated students to work in the Writing Center, providing tutoring services to students in a range of writing skills. Tutoring aims to foster independence in writing and promotes engagement with the Writing Center. The role offers flexible hours and potential for continued tutoring.

Requirements

• Solid academic standing and strong writing abilities
• Successful completion of Academic Writing I; Inquiry, Research, and Writing Across the Disciplines; or Ithaca Seminar in Writing
• Completion of additional writing courses beyond the 100-level
• Commitment to helping others become more effective writers
• Excellent communication skills
• Personal qualities conducive to one-on-one conferences
