Job Description
We have an opening for a Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist in our Fairfax, VA office. The role involves designing roadways and highways, performing independent design, and developing design plans and reports.
Requirements
- Performing Roadway Design using OpenRoads, Geopak or InRoads
- Developing design plans including geometry, alignments, and details
- Coordinating with design team and other disciplines on design and deliverables
- Assisting in development of cost estimates, specifications, and reports
- Interact and partner with client management teams and a team of multidisciplinary engineers
- Ability to provide technical expertise in the following areas: Roadway/highway design, Vertical and horizontal alignments, Typical and cross sections, Earthwork, Signage and pavement markings, Quantities and cost estimates, Design reports
