Roadway Design Engineering Specialists

STV is seeking an experienced Highway Design Engineering Specialist to join their Pennsylvania team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MicroStation Inroads software and work on a wide range of roadway, highway, and transit projects.

Requirements

• Develop and refine 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections for transportation projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers in highway geometry and the effective use of Modeling software.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate design elements into comprehensive project plans.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and technical specifications for roadway, highway, and transit infrastructure projects.
• Conduct thorough design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control checks to ensure designs align with project objectives and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of project reports, presentations, and client communications to ensure effective project delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to OpenRoads, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
