Job Description
STV is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to support CAD efforts in the Boston office, addressing the challenge of utilizing a wide array of software and CAD standards to facilitate design on meaningful projects.
Requirements
- Setting up project templates and files structures compliant with project/client CAD standards
- Monitoring and enforcing project standards compliance, file organization, best practices, and modeling errors
- Preparing drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs with occasional assistance
- Collaborating with other production team members - reviewing models for design coordination issues, answering questions, and troubleshooting issues
- Understanding of engineering and architectural documentation and construction, including infrastructure
