STV is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Traffic Project Manager to provide leadership on traffic engineering projects in Raleigh, NC, and other U.S. markets. The ideal candidate has 20+ years of experience in Traffic Engineering and a strong background in transportation projects with State DOTs, local governments, and the private sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program or related field; master's degree preferred
- A minimum of 20 years' of relevant experience
- Registered North Carolina Professional Engineer license
- Experience with traffic software such as HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, CORSIM, TransModeler, and SIDRA and transportation planning software TransCAD and CUBE is a plus
- Experience with CAD applications such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation OpenRoads
- Experience with data analysis and visualizations tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable
- Experience in traffic engineering must include traffic signal design and timing, illumination, safety analysis, operational analysis, and capacity analysis
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- MPO, NCDOT and other City/County experience is preferred
- Active participation in professional society activities encouraged
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
