Utility Inspector

We have an immediate need for Utility Inspectors in the Asheville, NC area to support our Transportation division and grow our Construction Management and CEI practice.

Requirements

• Perform utility relocation verification activities in support of highway and bridge construction projects
• Apply safety philosophy to all job responsibilities and ability to work safely in an outside environment
• Monitor contractor compliance with relocation plans
• Prepare daily inspection reports
• Perform measurement and documentation of completed work
• Read and interpret utility relocation plans
• Effectively communicate with project staff and clients, both verbal and written communication
• Basic knowledge of computer and tablet (iPad) operation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, traverse rough terrain, walk or stand for extended periods of time while performing manual tasks, and work outdoors during all types of weather
