Water/Wastewater Project Manager

STV’s San Antonio, TX location is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Water Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water hydraulics, pipeline mechanics and materials, operation and control, and installation means and methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience in the design of water and wastewater pipelines
• Professional Engineering license in the state of Texas
• Experience with pipeline hydraulics, mentoring and managing younger staff and managing budgets, schedules, client meetings, and leading design tasks
• PMP certification
• Experience working with local municipalities and utility companies
• Ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to effectively manage projects
• Demonstrable experience in the design and construction of W/WW infrastructure: planning, design and construction of water and wastewater conveyance design
• Knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheet, document, and database software
• Knowledge of and experience in reviewing and implementing a QA/QC Plan
• Experience in reviewing and overseeing a Document Control Plan, and development/utilization of a Project Procedures Manual
