Drug Counselor - North County Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)

Suffolk County Department of Health Services is seeking a Drug Counselor for the North County Opioid Treatment Program. The ideal candidate will have Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification and a current certification from NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).

Requirements

• Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification
• Current certification from NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS)
• Possession of the requirements necessary to be designated as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) with one year of experience or satisfactory completion of a training program in the treatment of substance use disorders
