Job Description
Under general supervision, a Registered Nurse (RN) performs work in accordance with professional practices, special orders from doctors, and established rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients, assisting providers with examinations, and supervising support staff.
Requirements
- Possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the State of New York
- Good knowledge of nursing principles and techniques and their relation to medical practice
- Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of support staff in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale
