Teaching Assistant

Riverwalk School is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex behavioural needs. The role involves facilitating access to learning, working with small groups and one to one, and supporting teaching and learning. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving outcomes and life experiences for pupils.

Requirements

• Knowledge about SEND
• Passion for ensuring high-quality learning for children with complex needs and severe learning difficulties
• Strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques
• Ability to support tasks relating to'real life' experiences
• Awareness of safeguarding
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school through curriculum enrichment and extended school offer
