Automotive Technician

Sullivan Tire is seeking an Automotive Technician to independently perform vehicle repairs and services on customer vehicles. The role involves correctly mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing tires, performing safety inspections, and utilizing diagnostic tools and software. Requirements

• Correctly mount, dismount, balancing, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
• Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised diagnosis and repairs of vehicles including, but not limited to, maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, heating and cooling systems, alignment, and light tune-ups utilizing automotive tools, equipment, and software.
• Produce accurate repair estimates on customer vehicles.
• Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
• Properly adhere to safety and environmental standards.
• Communicate with customers and sales staff in understandable terms.
• Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with other responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
