Director of Staff Development (DSD)

The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible for delivering education and training programs for the facility, ensuring that all staff members are well-equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Requirements

• Clear and active LVN or RN license in the State of California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility in the supervisory role
• Experience in staff development, training, or educational roles
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulations applicable to nursing staff
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead training sessions and facilitate learning
• Expertise with PointClickCare (PCC)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate training schedules
