The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible for delivering education and training programs for the facility, ensuring that all staff members are well-equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Requirements
- Clear and active LVN or RN license in the State of California
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility in the supervisory role
- Experience in staff development, training, or educational roles
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulations applicable to nursing staff
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead training sessions and facilitate learning
- Expertise with PointClickCare (PCC)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate training schedules
