Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer to develop world-class firmware for in-house servers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.
Requirements
- MS in EE or CS/CE preferred
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Linux Shell and Java Scripts.
- Experience in switch development for 10+ years, Data Center switch is preferred
- Experience in embedded or Linux vulnerability discovery or malware detection.
- Knowledge in L2/L3 protocols: VLAN, MSTP, VxLAN, MC-LAG, OSPF, BGP.
- Knowledge in chipset driver, switch peripheral I/O, and bootloader: ONIE, ONL.
- Knowledge in open source development: SONiC.
- Knowledge in network topology application/configuration.
