Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

Supermicro is a Top Tier provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions. We seek a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer to play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering
• 5 years of experience working with x86 server or workstation boards
• Deep understanding of x86 architecture
• Comprehensive knowledge on PCB layout, debugging tools and software, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure
• Knowledge of high-speed circuit design and voltage regular circuit design
• Familiar with digital scope and high-speed bus measurement
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving capability, and strong ability to adopt and learn new notion and technologies
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic on working in fast-paced environment
