Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server, peripheral daughter cards, and GPU platform hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field
- 5+ years of hand-on experience in x86, GPU/motherboard design debugging, troubleshooting, and testing
- Profound understanding of circuit design/analysis (digital, analog, power), high speed signals design, and PCB layout review
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, along with effective interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in ODM/OEM customer support
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
