Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to conduct complex accounting transactions, document new accounting standards, and provide guidance to the Finance and Accounting teams. The role involves researching, analyzing, and preparing accounting policies and reports, and assisting with financial due diligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Identify, research, and document Company's technical accounting transactions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and reporting requirements.
- Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements.
- Prepare and document accounting policy positions, procedures and control environment and communicate positions to the broader Finance and Accounting teams.
- Assist with financial due diligence and integration of M&A transactions.
