Job Description
Surfline operates one of the world’s largest coastal camera networks, delivering real-time surf intelligence to millions of users daily. The Camera Operations Lead owns the performance, reliability, and expansion of our camera and weather station infrastructure across the Americas, with a focus on west coast markets beyond Southern California.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on field technician experience with IP cameras, networking, ISP troubleshooting, or similar infrastructure
- Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals, line-of-sight, and remote diagnostics
- Experience coordinating or overseeing work delivered by third parties
- Highly organized with strong operational discipline
- Clear communicator who can represent Surfline standards in the field
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and within a distributed global team
