Insurance AR Specialist - Remote

Surgical Information Systems (SIS) is seeking a full-time AR Specialist to handle collection efforts on Insurance Accounts for Ambulatory Surgical Centers. The role involves working with accounts receivable, submitting appeals, and researching denials from Insurance Carriers. The ideal candidate will have experience with managed care contracts, non-participating providers, and the insurance collection process.

Requirements

• Work accounts receivable as assigned
• Follow up on denials in a timely manner
• Demonstrated experience with writing appeals, initiating appeals/follow-up on appeals
• Knowledge of managed care contracts (i.e fee schedules and allowables)
• Experience working with non-participating providers
• Must have a clear understanding of the insurance collection process
