Insurance AR Specialist - Remote

Surgical Information Systems (SIS) is seeking an AR Specialist to handle collection efforts on Insurance Accounts. The role involves working with Ambulatory Surgical Centers, submitting appeals, and researching denials from Insurance Carriers.

Requirements

• Work accounts receivable as assigned
• Follow up on denials in a timely manner
• Demonstrated experience with writing appeals, initiating appeals/follow-up on appeals
• Knowledge of managed care contracts (i.e fee schedules and allowables)
• Experience working with non-participating providers
