Job Description
Surgical Information Systems (SIS) has a job opening for an Insurance AR Specialist. The AR Specialist will be responsible for collection efforts on Insurance Accounts and will handle accounts receivable for Ambulatory Surgical Centers. The position is remote.
Requirements
- Work accounts receivable as assigned
- Follow up on denials in a timely manner
- Follow up on appeals and research denials from Insurance Carriers
- Excellent organizational, communication & time management skills
- Knowledge of managed care contracts (i.e fee schedules and allowables)
- Experience working with non-participating providers
