Job Description
The Training Captain plays a critical role in our organization by mentoring and training aspiring tugboat captains. This position involves teaching candidates how to operate tugboats in various operations and maneuvers specific to their assigned operational areas.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience as a tugboat captain
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and best practices
- Proven experience in training and mentoring junior crew members or trainees
- Completion of relevant e-learning courses
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a diverse global environment
