Chief Engineer (Trainer)

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and record-keeping of the vessel's mechanical equipment. This includes supervising engine room operations, performing technical maintenance work, and managing the vessel's systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Technical degree in Industrial Mechanic, Diesel/Hydraulic or related fields
• More than 2 years of experience in similar position
• Capacity to perform level I maintenance to equipment
• Basic knowledge in: multimeter use, fuel and water probe use, amount of fuel and water calculation, appropriate use of paints, oils analysis, use of heat gun, manometers and thermometers reading
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish, Intermediate written and spoken English preferred
