Plan, organize, and supervise Foreman(s) for multiple job-sites simultaneously. Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner. Assign tasks and make sure carpentry jobs are completed in due time while work is performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor, and monitor performance of Foreman.
Requirements
- Supervise all field production activities
- Provide assistance to the Foreman in planning the job, ordering materials and manpower
- Establish project goals and monitor the success of the goals throughout the project
- Monitor labor efficiencies, project the labor needs for the duration of the project
- Achieve Swinerton productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining an accurate labor tracking log and communicating with other key project personnel
- Monitor material cost and storage
- Provide leadership and guidance to Foreman
- Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues
- Ensure that the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, management, crew members, etc.
- Coordinate subcontractors for Superintendent
- Perform safety audits and implement safety program
- Ensure compliance with all work completed, policies and procedures
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
