Labor General Foreman

Plan, organize and supervise Foreman(s) for multiple job-sites simultaneously, consult with clients and contractors, and ensure carpentry jobs are completed on time while adhering to Swinerton standards.

Requirements

• Supervise all field production activities
• Provide assistance to the Foreman in planning the job, ordering materials and manpower
• Establish project goals and monitor the success of the goals throughout the project
• Monitor labor efficiencies, project the labor needs for the duration of the project
• Achieve Swinerton productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members
• Monitor material cost and storage
• Provide leadership and guidance to Foreman
• Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues
• Ensure that the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
• Coordinate subcontractors for Superintendent
• Perform safety audits and implement safety program
• Ensure compliance with all work completed, policies and procedures
