We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our team in Cologne with the option to work remotely, to operate tasks in system engineering and take on a technical leadership role for a central key account.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in operating complex, heterogeneous IT infrastructures in productive environments with high demands on stability and availability
- Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows server operation, virtualization, and backup solutions (VMware, VEEAM) as well as network technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching) and firewall systems
- Structured, calm, and solution-oriented way of working - also in complex or critical operational situations
- General understanding with the ability to grasp and evaluate technical connections across multiple technology layers
- Clear and professional communication with internal teams and customers as well as the ability to justify technical decisions
