Join our international team as a Senior Java Application Engineer and help shape the future of our core costing platform at Swiss Re. You'll leverage your expertise in Java and modern frameworks to design, implement, and maintain high-performance applications that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations for our worldwide operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with proficiency in Java 11+ and Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Experience with relational databases (particularly PostgreSQL)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code in a team environment
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
