Senior Software Engineer

SWIVEL is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain our Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and core internal integrations. The role involves building awesome technology to solve complex problems, mentoring other developers, and participating in self-organized teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience
• Strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON
• Creating and maintaining relational data models and databases
• Troubleshooting with advanced SQL performance issues and writing/tuning advanced SQL queries
• Experience with.NET Framework and.NET, migration to.NET
• Extensive experience with relational databases and general knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Exposure to microservice architecture and cloud-native services
• Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban
• General knowledge of domain-drive design (DDD), three-tier architecture, and other design patterns
• Knowledge of team development tools and source control
• Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies/processes
• Familiar with most general office machines and proficient in MS Office tools
