Senior Database Administrator

Swyfft is looking for a Senior Database Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining multi-terabyte databases across SQL Server and Azure SQL platforms, as well as implementing and maintaining database security and data privacy controls.

Requirements

• Administer and maintain multi-terabyte databases across SQL Server and Azure SQL platforms
• Implement and maintain database security and data privacy controls
• Design, automate, and regularly test backups to meet defined RPO and RTO targets
• Monitor and tune database and query performance
• Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks, blocking, and indexing issues across high-volume transactional and analytical workloads
• Design, build, and maintain SSIS ETL packages and other data integration and data movement workflows
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations
