As our HSE Systems Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations team, leading the charge on building upon our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives and successfully closing out action items.
Requirements
- Assess action item plan based on previous'red flag' analysis, following through to maximum completion.
- Flag high risk scenarios and stop gaps across operations and proactively act against non-compliance in the workplace
- Improve current IRS across 5 facilities in Windsor region
- Track and Develop KPIs on H&S measurements
- Develop and coordinate Centralized JHSC across 5 facilities with appointed representatives
- Create systems and processes to maintain and/or eliminate risk
- Establish foundational H&S safety systems and enforce Operational Leaders to implement and sustain best practices
- Amalgamate different H&S practices into one, cohesive system of record
- Collaborate with teams across the city to ensure safe working practices are implemented and enforced
- Establish a 'Process of Completion' matrix to inform stakeholders and provide timely updates to HR manager and Operations
- Oversee federal environmental reporting, permitting, and due diligence as required.
