The Computer Systems Analyst II provides technical and analytical support for the design, development, and implementation of information systems in a government environment. Analyze user requirements, define system solutions, and support system implementation and sustainment.
Requirements
- Analyze user requirements and operational needs to develop technical solutions and system improvements
- Define system goals and break down solutions into logical steps, workflows, and procedures
- Apply structured analysis techniques including data modeling, process mapping, and information engineering
- Identify system inputs, define processing logic, and design outputs to meet user requirements
- Develop, configure, and support solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform
- Design and maintain Dataverse data structures and relationships to support application functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues to ensure continuity of operations
- Support system implementation activities, including configuration, integration, and user validation
- Coordinate and execute system testing to ensure solutions meet functional requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and diagrams
- Support data analysis and reporting efforts using available tools
- Assist in developing cost-benefit and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses for proposed system improvements
- Support evaluation of system effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on performance data
- Contribute to identifying efficiencies through automation and improved system design
- Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes across development, test, and production environments
