Job Description
Systemic is seeking a motivated financial systems presales consultant to provide technology to investment management and wealth management firms. The role involves identifying and evaluating opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, coordinating Proof of Concepts, and engaging with customers. It also requires market research, content development, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (M.Sc. or MBA) in Finance, Financial Mathematics/Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Five years experience in the financial services industry, particularly in investment management, fund administration, or wealth management.
- Strong understanding of financial software systems.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, instruments, and products.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards affecting financial institutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial acumen.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar are considered a plus.
