Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

We are currently looking to hire a talented Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (GSEM) to diagnose, repair and maintain ground support equipment at our facilities at Naval Air Station Point Mugu, CA. The position will require roughly 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, and 5% lifting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years' experience repairing and maintaining one or a combination of the following: Ground Vehicles (track or wheeled), Power-generation equipment, Rotary- or fixed-wing aircraft, Industrial mechanical equipment (pumps, conveyors, lifts, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Computer systems and software.
• Forklift Operator license required.
• Class A license preferred.
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
