Taiho Oncology is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to promote and sell their oncology products in the assigned geography. The role involves meeting with customers and healthcare professionals, providing product information, and driving sales through face-to-face interactions and innovative tools. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales, a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience, and a BA/BS degree.
Requirements
- Represent the company in a highly professional and ethical manner
- Provide a high level of product expertise and customer service to all accounts
- Calls on customers (academic & community setting) in a specific geography
- Responsible for new account development within assigned geographic territory
- Builds relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacy, office staff and key thought leaders in assigned territory
- Develops and executes a territory-level business plan with specific tactics aligned to the brand strategy
- Tracks sales activities and reports those activities in the CRM system
- Conducts promotional speaker programs, lunch and learns, and exhibits in the territory, when permitted
- Confidently synthesizes and communicates complex clinical concepts in oncology/hematology to a variety of health care professionals
- Demonstrates effective account management skills and selling competencies
- Accountable for driving on-label product demand to ensure HCPs identify the right patient at the right time
