Job Description
Takeda is seeking an exceptional Head of Global Capabilities Center (GCC) Data & Analytics to build and scale our India-based analytics organization from the ground up. As the first and most senior analytics leader in India, you will be responsible for establishing the organizational vision, designing the operating model, hiring and developing a high-performing SME team and driving innovation across commercial analytics.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, or related field); MBA or PhD preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing large, multi-layered teams in pharma.
- Proven track record of building and scaling analytics organizations (ideally from inception), including hiring and developing leadership teams.
- Deep expertise in commercial data & analytics functions including forecasting, market access, sales operations, market research and competitive intelligence
- Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs for large (250 plus) analytics teams
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to influence at the executive level.
- Demonstrated success in global, matrixed environments and cross-cultural leadership.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
- Familiarity with the Indian talent landscape and regulatory environment is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, with demonstrated expertise in establishing GenAI (Generative AI) and Agentic AI methodologies and solutions.
