Spanish Speaking Plasma Center Nurse

As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and provide customer service and quality care. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician, and will be responsible for managing employee incidents and supporting Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs. You will also be responsible for supporting pandemic investigations and referring donors to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program
• Current licensure or certification as a LPN or LVN
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification
• Completion of FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
