Mechanical Project Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in engineering projects to modernize, adapt, and expand production space. You will work on translating customer requirements into technical designs, conducting conceptual designs, and researching technical solutions.

Requirements

• Translate customer requirements into a technical design for equipment, piping, and mechanical components of an installation.
• Conduct conceptual designs and basic engineering in projects.
• Research and propose a range of possible technical solutions for specific needs.
• Provide input for HAZOP risk analyses and ensure the implementation of measures in the design.
• Participate in purchasing activities related to projects.
• Prepare budgets and contribute to the planning for your discipline.
• Discuss the construction file with construction site supervisors regarding the realization of the project.
• Maintain contacts with internal customers and external partners/contractors.
• Coordinate and control the quality of internal/external designers during detailed engineering.
• Archive documents and ensure the maintenance of a technical as-built construction file.
