Job Description
TAMKO is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Supervisor for the asphalt roofing manufacturing facility in Frederick, MD. The supervisor directs and coordinates activities of technicians engaged in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of control devices, instrumentation, and electrical utility systems.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of manufacturing experience
- High school diploma; Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or five (5) years of related controls installation and troubleshooting experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in PLC programming and motion control systems (Siemens preferred)
- Experience with HMI programming (Aveva preferred)
- Competence in 2D CAD electrical design software (AutoCAD preferred)
- Familiarity with industrial electrical distribution systems, safe troubleshooting, and NEC requirements
- Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively engage with plant management and personnel
- Occasional travel for technical skills training and other professional development opportunities
