Job Description
The Planner & Estimator will prepare and coordinate full quantity estimates, support project planning and analysis, and work with internal and external clients to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
Requirements
- Reviewing and evaluating requests for estimates
- Using AutoCAD and LPX estimating software to prepare quantity analysis
- Contacting architects and designers to resolve issues with drawings or specifications
- Working with manufacturer representatives to determine special product needs or requirements
- Reviewing construction documents and understanding of scope of work to bid
- Ensuring estimates are complete and accurate
- Problem solving issues and questions related to drawing and specifications
- Managing time, resources, and workload
- Managing multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
