Serials & Electronic Resources Manager/Librarian III

The Serials & Electronic Resources Manager/Librarian III is responsible for managing electronic resources access, licensing, and vendor relations, as well as overseeing all operations of the Serials and E-Resources Department, both print and electronic. The position requires a Master's degree in library or information science and four years of related experience in an academic library setting.

Requirements

• ALA-accredited Master's degree in library or information science or international equivalent
• Four years of related experience in an academic library setting
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
• Knowledge of automated library systems
• Knowledge of basic metadata schemas, digital collection management software, security, and public safety issues
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and research skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
• Ability to use basic print and electronic reference tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
