The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician will perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation devices for process equipment. They will work in a team environment and individually to promote efficiency in problem-solving and work scheduling.
Requirements
- Mechanical/electrical knowledge to analyse and solve problems on various process instrumentation and switchgear.
- Ability to inspect used parts to determine changes in performance using various measuring instruments.
- Prior experience in instrument calibrations and documentation in ISO 9000 or FDA facility.
- Proficiency in at least five areas, including documenting calibrators, PLC ladder logic diagrams, HART communicator configuration and calibration, and troubleshooting 460V 3 Phase electrical switchgear.
- Ability to use precision-measuring and testing instruments in performance of mechanical and electrical repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation, equipment/systems as required, and maintain instrument maintenance and calibration on assigned machines.
