Structural Engineer - Bridges

Tatham Engineering is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their Bridges team in Guelph, ON, Canada. The successful candidate will support and lead the delivery of bridge and municipal infrastructure projects with a focus on project management, assessment, planning, design, proposal preparation, and construction support.

Requirements

• Graduate of Undergraduate Degree program
• P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO considered an asset
• 5+ years of relevant bridge engineering experience, preferably in consulting
• Proficient knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC), Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), Structural Manual and applicable standards and legislation
• Strong technical design experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and other bridge materials
• Experience with project coordination and client communication
• Strong technical and analytical skills, familiarity with Civil 3D is considered an asset
• Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Undertake some business development with a desire to do more
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with interest in mentorship and team leadership
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
