Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Engineer, Project Manager to join our team in the Buildings department. The ideal candidate will have a P.Eng. in Ontario, 5+ years of structural engineering experience, and proficiency in design software. They will be responsible for preparing structural calculations, designing new structures, and overseeing project teams.
Requirements
- P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario
- Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (Part 4 and Part 9)
- Proficiency in the design of municipal, institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential structures using wood, timber, steel, concrete, and masonry
- Computer literate with knowledge of structural analysis and design software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience with business development is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
