Operator - Structures Maintenance

We are looking for a practical and experienced person to join our busy team to repair, build, and maintain structures across our city's parks and reserves.

Requirements

• Relevant experience and in hard landscaping and carpentry
• Relevant qualifications in the above fields, Level 3 or above is preferred
• A genuine focus on Health and Safety and willingness to speak up
• Physically fit and healthy with the ability to work outdoors on your feet all day
• Technology savvy with the ability to use mobile apps and an iPad to track and report on work
• Strong communication skills
• A track record of being reliable and a team player but also effective working solo
• A positive attitude and a willingness to listen and learn
• A full clean NZ drivers licence
• The ability to be a positive ambassador for TCC, interacting with all community members in a respectful and appropriate way
