Job Description
We are seeking a Compression Engineer to support compression facilities in the region. The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of industrial equipment used in gas compression systems. The position involves providing support to Operations on day-to-day issues, conducting root cause analysis investigations, and identifying cost-effective solutions to urgent problems. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Bonduel, WI or Duluth, MN.
Requirements
- BS or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years industry experience with natural gas compression facilities or similar equipment
- Previously demonstrated dedication to safety
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
- Demonstrated superior organizational skills and proven ability to manage projects within scope and budget
- Effective analytical skills
- Ability to effectively operate in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle rapidly shifting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
- Professional Engineering License or the willingness to pursue license
