The Assembly Operator II will operate automated assembly machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing, and basic computer skills. The role involves working on automated assembly machines, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Be open to change and constant improvement of processes
- Obtain set up parameters for automated assembly machines
- Operate the Automated assembly machines including identification and notification of alarms
- Perform general inspection of assembled product using a microscope, gages, and other measuring equipment as required by the quality inspection plan
- Perform in-process adjustments to auxiliary equipment as required
- Completes required paperwork to report production, scrap, downtime, problems and issues related to the equipment and labor reporting
- Monitor machines for problems and help troubleshoot issues
- Prepare and Load raw material into machine
- Follow standard work instructions to ensure quality
- Carry out basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculator
- Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards
- Complete relevant documentation
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area per 5S+1 standards
- Other duties as needed
