Job Description
The Manufacturing Team Leader I is responsible for supporting daily production operations by guiding a designated group of employees, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
Requirements
- Lead a team to meet daily quality, safety, and production goals
- Coordinate priorities with supervisors to maximize productivity
- Lead Tier I meetings and communicate key updates
- Track and report production metrics (downtime, scrap, labor, equipment)
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams
- Complete audit actions and support preventive maintenance
- Enforce safety, policies, and 5S standards
- Support training and maintain documentation
- Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste
- Promote lean manufacturing practices
- Escalate issues and communicate effectively with leadership
- Support TE's Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE) culture
